    1418069 Screw compressors STAL REFRIGERATION AB 22 June 1973 [30 June 1972] 29839/73 Heading F1F A screw compressor comprises a slide gate 8 having a convex surface which rests in the bottom 13 of a recess in the casing 1, and two concave surfaces which co-operate with corresponding surfaces 11, 12 in the outlet port 5, which surfaces 11, 12 prevent the gate 8 from rotating, the gate 8 being further supported by a rod 9 which is slidable in the casing 1. The rod 9 extends through gate 8 and is attached thereto by a spring washer 10. The slide gate 8 is controlled by a piston 15 in a cylinder 16, which piston acts on gate 8 via rod 17, plate 18 and rod 9 against which plate 18 abuts. Movement of gate 8 to the left uncovers opening 14 to vent gas via holes in plate 18 and a channel 19 back to the inlet 4. Cylinder 16 can be subjected to either the outlet or inlet pressure via lines 20, 21.

    (B) SCREW COMPRESSOR The invention relates to the field of compressor drains, in particular, to volumetric machines, namely screw compressors, and may find application in various industries. Screw compressors are known, comprising a housing with end caps, having inlet and outlet windows, mounted in the housing, interacting screws and placed parallel to their axes on the steering rod, the control valve GM. This compressor is characterized by increased complexity in operation, as in the known construction it is impossible to replace the spool without disassembling the compressor. The aim of the invention is to simplify the operation of the compressor. The goal is achieved by the fact that a hole is made in the lid with the outlet window that corresponds to the configuration of the spool in cross section. FIG. 1 shows a screw compressor, a longitudinal section in FIG. 2, a cover with an outlet window. The screw compressor includes a housing 1 with end caps 2 and 3, in which the inlet and out- side are made. launch 5 windows. In case 1, interacting screws are installed (not shown in the drawings).     Claim
    Screw compressor. Containing housing with end caps having inlet and outlet windows. Installed in the housing, interacting screws and an adjusting spool placed parallel to their axes on the guide rod, characterized in that, in order to simplify operation, an opening is made in the cover with the outlet window corresponding to the configuration of the spool in cross section.
